Lead Specialty Software Engineer - Blockchain Platform

Overview

Lead Specialty Software Engineering for a blockchain platform, driving complex initiatives and building application/system components.

What you'll do

• Lead complex initiatives across selected domains.
• Design, develop, test, and implement applications and system components.
• Monitor systems to improve operational efficiency and mitigate risk.
• Resolve coding, testing, and escalated platform issues.
• Lead a team to meet compliance and risk management requirements.
• Mentor less experienced software engineers.
• Collaborate with production support and platform engineering teams.

What you'll need

• 5+ years of Specialty Software Engineering experience.
• Experience with Go and Rust programming languages.
• Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with blockchain platforms including Cosmos SDK, CometBFT, and IBC.
• Practical smart contract development experience using Go and Rust.
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases (Oracle, MS SQL, MongoDB).
• Experience with monitoring tools such as Grafana, Splunk, or AppDynamics.

Nice to have

• Prior SRE (Site Reliability Engineering) experience.
