Overview

Lead Full Stack Developer on the Wealth Passport Development Team, responsible for transforming design and product vision into a seamless online banking platform.

What you'll do

• Work closely with other developers to design and develop functional, performing and complete features, systems and APIs.
• Constantly look for better ways of solving technical problems and designing the solution, challenging the status quo.
• Work with other developers on the team, specifically with code reviews and pair programming.
• Decipher existing software systems and platforms and hook in applications to applicable data sources.
• Write both unit and integration tests and develop automation tools for daily tasks.

What you'll need

• 7 – 12+ years of experience with Spring Boot Microservices and Java Hibernate/ORM.
• Skilled in writing JAVA based batch processing, REST, SOAP, and web application security.
• Skilled in working with one of the modern JavaScript frameworks (React or Angular).
• Strong understanding of REST APIs and how to use them in practice.
• Strong understanding of relational database concepts, with exposure to PL/SQL.
• Experience with continuous integration and collaboration tools like JIRA, Bitbucket, GitHub and Confluence.
• Strong experience with unit testing and test automation tools and frameworks like JUnit, Jasmine, Jest etc.
• Experience in Domain Driven Design.
• Good understanding of Cloud design principles.
• Exposure to writing UNIX/LINUX scripts.

Nice to have

• Technologies referenced: Spring Boot Microservices, Java Hibernate/ORM, ReactJS, Kafka, JMS, JUnit, Oracle, DataStage, Pivotal Cloud Foundry.
