Lead Technology Analyst , SAP BTP

Overview

Lead Technology Analyst for SAP BTP within Satair/Airbus's Data & Infrastructure team, owning SAP Integration Suite integration flows and data pipelines that connect enterprise systems and support business self-service and data-driven improvement.

What you'll do

• Improve and maintain core integration flows and connectivity solutions running on the SAP Integration Suite (Cloud Integration / CPI, API Management).
• Design, build, and optimize data pipelines and workflows using Apache Airflow to orchestrate data movement across SAP and non-SAP ecosystems.
• Focus on optimization, automation, and backend pipeline enhancements using Python scripts and advanced SQL queries.
• Engage with functional teams to understand end-to-end processes, identify integration pain points, and find improvement opportunities through data and emerging technologies.
• Translate analysis into actionable outcomes by developing automated tools, secure APIs, and integrated workflows that enhance productivity and business value.
• Design and deliver Minimum Viable Products (MVPs) to test, validate, and address critical business connectivity and data sharing challenges.

What you'll need

• Deep, hands-on experience with SAP Integration Suite (Cloud Integration, API Management, Open Connectors).
• Robust coding abilities in Python.
• Strong command of SQL.
• Proven experience with Apache Airflow for workflow orchestration, scheduling, and monitoring.
• 3–5 years of experience in an integration engineering, data engineering, or similar technical role within a complex business environment.
• Strong knowledge of English, both orally and in writing.

Nice to have

• Experience working with APIs (REST/SOAP), data structures, modern cloud stacks, and DevOps tools/practices.
• A university degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
