Loan Officer

About the role

SMFG India Credit is hiring Loan Officers to acquire customers and drive sales across Home Loans, Mortgage Loans, Two Wheeler Loans, Enterprise Loans, and Self Help Group Loans. You'll be the face of our brand in the field, building relationships and hitting ambitious sales targets across West Bengal and other high-growth states.

What you'll do

• Conduct field visits to acquire new customers and identify lending opportunities in assigned territories
• Promote and sell SMFG India Credit's loan products (home loans, two-wheeler loans, enterprise loans, and SHG loans) to prospective clients
• Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers to ensure repeat business and referrals
• Achieve assigned sales targets consistently and generate new business opportunities through proactive prospecting
• Prepare loan applications, gather required documentation, and support the underwriting process

What we're looking for

• Graduate in any discipline with a passion for sales and customer engagement
• Age up to 27 years; male and female candidates equally encouraged to apply
• Mandatory: own two-wheeler and valid driving licence or learner's licence for field mobility
• Strong communication skills, resilience, and ability to work independently in a target-driven environment

Nice to have

• Prior experience in sales, banking, or financial services
• Familiarity with loan products and credit processes
• Existing network or connections in assigned territory
