Machine Learning Engineer - APAC

Overview

Machine Learning Engineer for the APAC region, focused on building and productionizing machine learning and predictive analytics solutions on modern data platforms.

What you'll do

• Clean, transform, and join raw datasets using SQL and Python, including handling missing data and outliers.
• Design and develop ML models using regression, classification, and time-series approaches.
• Run disciplined experiments using train/validation/test splits and cross-validation.
• Perform feature engineering (aggregation, encoding, interaction terms, time windows) and assess feature stability.
• Evaluate models using metrics such as precision, recall, F1 score, ROC AUC, and calibration.
• Optimize and productionize models with monitoring for drift/performance and manage A/B rollouts on Databricks.
• Build agentic workflows and automate pipelines for data processing, deployment, and monitoring.

What you'll need

• At least 5 years of experience in data and machine learning or closely related roles.
• Ability to work across SQL, Python, data modeling & evaluations, statistical foundations, and ML algorithms in technical interviews.
• Experience in technology stack including Databricks and Microsoft Fabric (plus Power BI for platform work).
• Master’s degree preferred, with a minimum Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field.
• Excellent communication skills to translate technical and statistical concepts for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
