Manager, PMO - Client and Partner Development

Overview

Arcesium is seeking a Project Manager for the Forward Deployed PMO team to support Strategic Program Managers by leading and managing complex client-facing and internal projects.

What you'll do

• Implement products for new, large, and complex enterprise clients
• Execute internal strategic projects
• Recommend operational improvements to support growth and other internal goals
• Create, track, and coordinate complicated project plans that stay within scope and budget
• Oversee the creation of deliverables for multiple projects across a distributed, cross-functional team both internally and with clients
• Collaborate with internal teams to develop messaging to senior stakeholders
• Build and maintain an implementation toolkit to achieve efficiencies and scalability
• Manage risks pre-emptively, using metrics to drive projects forward
• Escalate risks to Strategic Program Managers
• Build and maintain relationships and create trust with mainly internal stakeholders
• Manage internal stakeholders and drive internal teams in process-oriented problem solving to agree optimal solutions
• Teach and mentor project management skills to peers

What you'll need

• 6-11 years of project management or consulting experience
• Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills (mandatory)
• Demonstrable ability to manage expectations and influence key stakeholders at all levels, including executive and C-level
• Organized, process-oriented problem-solver who can multi-task and manage competing interests
• Proficiency with project governance and experience in delivering successful client solutions (a must)
• Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation abilities
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to present to and persuade senior staff to engage with key initiatives and process improvements
• Thriving in a fast-paced, deadline-driven team environment with a "roll up your sleeves" attitude (critical)
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or finance/economics, with a strong record of academic achievement (required)
• Passion and aptitude for process-driven execution (a must)

Nice to have

• Preferably a background in finance or technology
• Experience and domain knowledge of investment operations functions such as Accounting, Middle Office and Treasury (highly preferred)
• Experience in data modeling (a plus)
• MBA (highly preferred)
• Understanding of software development processes (preferred)
