Manager , Software Engineering

Overview

Manager, Software Engineering to provide technical leadership for full-stack and GenAI/automation enablement in Hyderabad.

What you'll do

• Provide technical leadership through guidance and mentorship to engineering teams.
• Deliver automation capabilities by applying defined engineering standards.
• Collaborate on delivery of automations, applications, and reusability across the organization.
• Lead and engage Full Stack engineers and manage employees for a collaborative environment.
• Work with Tech Leads, scrum masters, and Business Analysts on technical solutions.
• Ensure compliance with coding standards, quality expectations, and thought leadership in test-driven development and QA.
• Maximize reuse by assessing development for reusability.

What you'll need

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in computer science.
• At least 8 years of experience with increasing responsibility from code-level engineer to supervisor roles.
• 5+ years track record delivering engineering solutions in a complex, international company with team leadership.
• Technical oversight experience of a team of at least 5 engineers.
• Extensive use of agile product development methodologies and DevOps tools.
• Must-have skills: full stack (C#, Java, Python, React), SQL, CI/CD, APIs, data, and Cloud.
• Experience supporting deployment and operationalization using AWS or Azure.

• Experience and knowledge of cloud computing, infrastructure as code, cloud-native principles, and microservices design.
• Experience with AI tools (e.g., Copilot, Claude) for development.
• Experience building Gen AI/Agentic AI solutions.
