Mendix Technical Lead (Delivery & Operations)

Overview

Lead and deliver Mendix application development and operational support within Agilent’s SAP Services and Digital Integrations team, using ITIL-aligned processes and governance for a citizen developer model.

What you'll do

• Build and enhance Mendix solutions, including end-to-end delivery from requirements to production release.
• Provide production support for Mendix applications to ensure stability and performance.
• Enforce governance guardrails and coach citizen developers on security, quality, and platform standards.
• Design, develop, test, and deploy Mendix solutions using Mendix Studio Pro and approved patterns.
• Apply ITIL practices across incident, problem, change, release, and knowledge management, including RCA and KB articles.
• Partner with operations on monitoring/logging, alert tuning, runbooks, and production readiness.
• Coordinate with application owners and business users to refine requirements and plan releases.

What you'll need

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, MCA, or equivalent experience.
• 4–5 years of hands-on Mendix or low-code platform development experience.
• Mendix Certified Professional.
• End-to-end delivery experience for at least two Mendix applications (build, test, deployment, post-go-live stabilization).
• Working knowledge of ITIL processes for support management (incident/problem/change/release/knowledge).
• Experience with Mendix Studio Pro (domain modeling, microflows/nanoflows, pages, security, performance optimization).
• Working knowledge of integration and app lifecycle management (REST/SOAP/OData, deployment/monitoring/troubleshooting, environment strategy).
