Overview
Engineering Manager responsible for leading a software engineering group within Adobe Campaign, with a primary focus on security and additional technical and personnel leadership for scalable, reliable, and high-quality enterprise customer solutions.
What you'll do
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of software engineers.
- Own and complete the security charter for Adobe Campaign, including security improvements, vulnerability remediation, and collaboration with internal security organizations.
- Provide technical direction and oversight across the team’s engineering initiatives.
- Deliver scalable, reliable, and maintainable solutions through sound engineering methods and technical decision-making.
- Direct application security and vulnerability oversight for enterprise SaaS products, involving threat modeling, secure code review, source/sink/escape analysis, and addressing OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities.
- Address security vulnerabilities across native C++, server-side JavaScript, web, SOAP, and REST surfaces, including injection, broken authentication and authorization, CSRF, SSRF, XXE, XSS, and complex pre-authentication RCE chains.
- Partner with teams across multiple functions to define priorities, manage execution, and deliver high-quality outcomes.
- Identify and address technical, operational, and architectural challenges.
- Drive continuous improvement across engineering processes, systems, and team practices.
- Participate in hiring, performance management, and career development.
- Collaborate effectively with geographically distributed teams in a fast-paced Agile environment.
What you'll need
- 10+ years of software engineering experience, including experience managing engineering teams.
- Strong understanding of microservices, distributed systems, cloud architecture, architectural patterns, and modern frameworks.
- Strong computer science fundamentals and system build experience.
- Experience with AWS and/or Azure and modern engineering tools and practices.
- Strong programming experience in C++, Java, Python, or similar languages.
- Experience building scalable, reliable enterprise software.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of LLMs, agentic AI, and AI-assisted software development lifecycles, with the ability to boost developer efficiency, code quality, and security review efficiency.
Nice to have
- Experience in application security, secure software development, vulnerability management, or security engineering.
- Experience driving security initiatives for enterprise software products.
- Experience with security scanning, CVE remediation, threat modeling, authentication and authorization, and security compliance.
- Experience working with extensive enterprise SaaS solutions.
- Experience with threat modelling, secure code review, source/sink/escaper taint analysis, and remediation of OWASP Top 10 and related vulnerability classes, including injection, broken authentication/authorization, CSRF, SSRF, XXE, XSS, and multi-stage pre-auth RCE chains across native C++, server-side JavaScript, web, and SOAP/REST surfaces.
