Overview
Modeling & Simulation Engineer to develop, validate, and standardize HVACR system simulation models using 1D/2D/3D and model-based tools.
What you'll do
- Collaborate with global engineering teams to define and implement 1D/2D/3D simulation methodologies.
- Develop and implement simulation models to support HVACR system and component design.
- Develop, execute, and interpret high-fidelity CFD simulations for compressor components and assemblies.
- Provide data-driven recommendations on design performance, flow characteristics, thermal behavior, and cost reduction.
- Lead verification and validation (V&V) activities for simulation models using test plans and/or existing test data.
- Communicate project status by preparing presentations of simulation results to stakeholders.
What you'll need
- Master’s degree in Mechanical/Aerospace/Civil Engineering or a closely related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
- Hands-on experience applying 1D and 3D simulation tools in a simulation-driven product development environment.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills to turn simulation results into engineering decisions.
- Effective communication and exceptional interpersonal skills for global collaboration.
- Strong understanding of fluid mechanics, heat transfer, thermodynamics, and numerical methods.
