Mortgage Funding Coordinator

Overview

As a Mortgage Funding Coordinator, you will ensure loans are accurately funded and the closing process runs efficiently. You will coordinate with the Closer, Settlement Agent, Warehouse Bank, and Post-Closing team to distribute loan funds and complete closing activities.

What you'll do

• Initiate wire transfers to disburse loan funds.
• Review closing documentation and validate data within the Loan Origination System (Encompass).
• Initiate the wire for release to the settlement agent and ensure management is notified for wire approval.
• Review and approve signed closing documents.
• Notify the settlement agent to release funds.
• Communicate by phone and email with the Settlement Agent when additional conditions are required.
• Register loans in the MERS system.
• Collaborate with other Post-Closing team members to ensure the timely completion of daily duties.
• Maintain company service level and turn-time standards, including return-call times, return-email times, and task completion times.

• 3+ years of experience in mortgage processing, closing, or post-closing.
• Meticulous and quality-focused, taking pride in your work.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, manage pressure, and meet deadlines.
• Ability to proactively resolve problems in a dynamic, process-centered environment.
• Outstanding attention to detail and strong time management skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Proficiency in Google Suite.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed.

Details

• Location: Bengaluru.
• Office position; employees regularly work at the Zillow India office for approximately 80 to 100 percent of their time each month.
• Employees must live within a reasonable commuting distance of the office.
