Operations Analyst, AS

Overview

Operations Analyst role in Private Bank (PB) Operations, ensuring adherence to DB Service Standards across regulatory reporting, processes, customer service, compliance, audit and corporate security.

What you'll do

• Ensure error-free and timely submission of regulatory reports as required by Regulators / Authorities.
• Maintain and publish regulatory reports across PB business units (Assets / Liabilities / Investments / Insurance / Wealth Management).
• Review and standardize all KOPs for PB Operations across Assets / Liabilities / Investments / Insurance / Wealth Management.
• Document all PB processes and obtain sign-off from stakeholders.
• Design and publish trackers on TAT and quality parameters.
• Ensure proper UAT and post-development testing for dbARRT / other systems and regulatory reporting projects.
• Assist Head of Controls in governing and monitoring controls, reviewing processes, and highlighting and fixing gaps.
• Publish regular controls checklists and highlight observations.
• Handle end-to-end Balance Sheet Substantiation activity.
• Liaise with Auditors, give walkthroughs, provide evidence, close audit points and handle other audit-related activities.
• Publish SLAs, KPIs, MIS and trackers.
• Perform other Operations-related activities as assigned from time to time.

What you'll need

• Knowledge of the banking and financial services industry.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Minimum 5 years of related experience.
• Graduate with relevant experience in the banking and finance industry.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical and presentation skills, with ability to follow up and coordinate with various teams for end-to-end tracking and resolution.
• Proven ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity and optimise workflows, applying critical judgment to ensure responsible and ethical use of data and AI outputs.

Nice to have

• MBA in finance.
• Preferably CPA / Chartered Accountant, with public accounting experience and banking industry experience.
