Operations Engineer

Overview

Operations Engineer to support and/or manage delivery for production systems and services, focused on day-to-day operations of cloud infrastructure.

What you'll do

• Monitor cloud infrastructure availability, performance, and security posture across AWS and GCP.
• Manage day-to-day cloud operations including compute lifecycle, Kubernetes, storage, and networking.
• Perform structured incident and service restoration within SLA commitments and escalate complex issues.
• Execute infrastructure changes and provisioning with pre- and post-change validation.
• Run incident and escalation support including on-call and Major Incident Management support.
• Implement cost monitoring, tagging compliance, and CMDB accuracy for cloud assets.

What you'll need

• Minimum 7.5 years of experience in Amazon Web Services (AWS).
• Working knowledge of AWS services including EC2, EKS/ECS, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM, and CloudWatch.
• Knowledge of AWS Security Hub for security alert response.
• Terraform experience for infrastructure-as-code (plan/apply, state, drift detection, modules).
• Scripting capability using Python or Bash for cloud task automation.
• Incident handling skills for P1–P3 structured cloud incidents and RCA documentation.
• 15 years of full-time education is required.
