Operations Engineer

Overview

Enterprise Monitoring Lead role responsible for the Dynatrace-based monitoring operations function, leading a team of engineers and acting as the primary technical authority and bridge to client stakeholders.

What you'll do

• Support the operations and/or manage delivery for production systems and services based on operational requirements and service agreements.
• Oversee the smooth functioning of production systems and services, ensuring they meet operational requirements and service agreements.
• Lead a team of engineers and coach them on monitoring best practices.
• Act as the primary technical authority on monitoring operations and the critical bridge between client stakeholders and the monitoring operations function.
• Proactively identify and resolve operational issues to support uninterrupted service delivery and optimize system availability.
• Define and implement Dynatrace Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) aligned to client security policies.
• Administer the Dynatrace environment, including tenant configuration and SaaS/Managed platform management.
• Carry out Dynatrace upgrades, patching, and version lifecycle management.
• Drive continuous improvement across the observability landscape.

What you'll need

• Dynatrace Administration skills.
• Minimum 5 years of experience is required.
• Minimum 3–4 years of hands-on experience with Dynatrace across OneAgent deployment, full-stack monitoring, and AIOps.
• Dynatrace Administration Professional (DAP) certification.
• Proficiency in Dynatrace modules: Real User Monitoring (RUM) and Synthetic Monitoring; Application Performance Monitoring (APM) and Distributed Tracing; Infrastructure and Cloud Monitoring (AWS, Azure, GCP); Log Management and Analytics; Network Performance Monitoring (NPM).
• Hands-on experience with Dynatrace upgrades, patching, and version lifecycle management.
• 15 years full time education.

Nice to have

• Experience with enterprise monitoring tools, ITSM integrations, and AI-driven observability platforms.

• Location: Pune office (source location line: Bengaluru).
• Shift: 24*7 rotational shifts and weekend on-call support.
• Work mode: 3 days office presence (RTO).
