Job description

Overview

Lead an engineering team and technical professionals to deliver engineering solutions, products, and services that support business objectives. Provide technical leadership, people management, project execution, and strategic direction while supporting innovation, collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.

What you'll do

  • Lead, develop, and inspire a team of engineers, technical specialists, and project contributors.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, innovation, and continuous learning.
  • Manage resource allocation, workload planning, and project schedules.
  • Support innovation, technology development, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Partner with global engineering teams to align priorities and execute strategic initiatives.
  • Drive a sense of urgency and ownership in addressing customer and business needs.
  • Partner with global engineering, operations, product management, manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and business leaders.
  • Ensure successful execution of engineering initiatives and alignment with organizational priorities.
  • Manage team performance, resource planning, employee development, project delivery, and operational excellence.

What you'll need

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field.
  • 5+ years of engineering experience with progressive technical and leadership responsibilities.
  • 3+ years of people management or technical team leadership experience.
  • Experience leading cross-functional projects and geographically distributed teams.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

Nice to have

  • Experience in semiconductor equipment.
  • Experience supporting global engineering organizations.
  • Knowledge of product development, quality systems, and engineering lifecycle processes.
  • Experience with project management methodologies and business process improvement initiatives.

Details

  • Location: Bangalore, Whitefield, India.
  • Work is performed in office and engineering laboratory environments.
  • Ability to sit and work at a computer workstation for extended periods.
  • Ability to use laboratory equipment and occasionally lift and move electronic equipment or test fixtures up to 25 pounds.
  • Regular use of electronic test equipment and prototype hardware for product development, validation, and troubleshooting activities.
