What you'll do

• Lead, mentor, and support engineers while setting clear technical direction for the pod.
• Collaborate with Product to challenge requirements, drive clarity, and align on priorities.
• Partner with Support & Operations to understand customer issues and operational realities.
• Plan, prioritize, and track engineering work to drive end-to-end execution.
• Remove blockers to maintain strong development velocity and smooth workflows.
• Own pod-level metrics such as latency, success rates, and efficiency, and use data to refine delivery.

What you'll need

• 6–9 years of experience in software engineering.
• Proven track record of transitioning from individual contributor to people manager.
• Experience thriving in fast-paced, high-growth startup environments.
• Ability to combine hands-on technical expertise with team leadership and mentorship.
• Language-agnostic preference; strong engineering fundamentals valued over specific tech stacks.
