Overview
MRE Engineering Operator executes DET Guzik and QMT testing activities to support manufacturing and engineering operations with accurate data collection, analysis, troubleshooting, and timely tester buyoff.
What you'll do
- Perform DET Guzik and QMT tests.
- Ensure DET test runs are not delayed and results are delivered on time.
- Show and verify buyoff measurement results as consistent and stable against test criteria.
- Compile and upload data to Online SPC within expected TAT.
- Update test requests and tracking information continuously and hand off details between shifts.
- Execute head changes, tester conversion buyoff, and tester troubleshooting.
- Maintain MRE lab 7S and follow safety and health rules.
What you'll need
- 1–2 years of working experience in a manufacturing environment with machine operation and data collection/analytical skills preferred.
- Technical cert or SPM or equivalent.
- Proficiency in MS Windows software (Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Outlook).
- Ability to include Excel macros as an added advantage.
- Demonstrated communication and relationship-building skills, including cross-functionally.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations in manufacturing environments.
- Junior level process technician problem-solving for troubleshooting process controls and data readback.
Nice to have
- Experience with sputter/MRE metrology tools and knowledge of magnetic materials used in HDD.
Details
- Rotating shift pattern with 12-hour shifts.
- Work in a cleanroom environment.
- Travel between cross plants (PN1–PN2) as required.
