Overview
As an ASSY Process/Equipment Engineer, you will start up, develop, and optimize assembly processes to improve product quality and reliability while reducing yield, cost, and risk issues in manufacturing.
What you'll do
- Start up, develop, and optimize assembly processes to improve product quality and reliability.
- Drive process yield improvement, cost reduction, productivity improvement, and risk management.
- Identify, diagnose, and resolve assembly process problems using failure analysis, FMEA, 8D, or SPC.
- Evaluate and optimize processes, equipment, and materials to implement changes at process steps.
- Lead and participate in yield improvement and cost reduction activities.
- Qualify new process baselines and manage/audit product material suppliers for quality, cost, and risk objectives.
- Apply AI/data-driven methods for predictive control, anomaly detection, and decision-making in high-volume manufacturing.
What you'll need
- Have a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD degree in Electronic, Mechanical, Mechatronic, or related Engineering.
- Have a minimum of 5 years related experience in Assembly packaging or Semiconductor manufacturing.
- Possess good knowledge in wafer dicing processes.
- Be familiar with FMEA and Statistical Process Control (SPC), and have problem-solving skills.
- Have knowledge of Design of Experiment (DOE) (added advantage).
- Be self-motivated and able to work independently.
- Work as a team player with good communication and interpersonal skills.
