Overview
People Director role with DoorDash India focused on Hyderabad site people strategy and day-to-day HR business partnering with site leaders and employees.
What you'll do
- Partner daily with site and functional leaders on team effectiveness, manager support, and performance concerns.
- Support employee engagement, workplace culture, team health, and manager consistency.
- Help leaders and employees navigate new processes, changing structures, and operating model changes.
- Manage sensitive employee relations matters, including investigations and escalations.
- Coordinate and prioritize the work of two Human Resources Generalists.
- Use people data to identify risks and improve day-to-day execution and site people practices.
What you'll need
- 6+ years of progressive experience in a People Business Partner, HR Business Partner, or comparable role.
- Hands-on people support experience in a high-growth, site-based, operations-focused, or multi-shift environment.
- Applied knowledge of employee relations, sensitive investigations, policy administration, and employment compliance in India.
- Experience coaching managers and supporting succession planning, talent processes, workforce planning, employee engagement, and organizational change.
- Ability to work fully onsite in Hyderabad during a night shift (5:00 p.m.–2:00 a.m. or 6:00 p.m.–3:00 a.m.).
