Performance Engineer

Overview

Diagnose and resolve complex performance challenges that an in-house performance testing team has been unable to address. Apply performance engineering across the software development lifecycle and system architecture, performance testing and validation, capacity planning, application performance management, and problem detection and resolution.

What you'll do

• Act as an SME and collaborate with and manage the team to perform.
• Make team decisions.
• Engage with multiple teams and contribute to key decisions.
• Provide solutions to problems for the immediate team and across multiple teams.
• Lead efforts to identify performance bottlenecks and recommend improvements.
• Facilitate knowledge sharing and mentoring within the team to enhance overall capabilities.
• Coordinate cross-functional communication to align performance goals with business objectives.
• Investigate and resolve complex performance challenges not addressed by the internal performance testing team.
• Analyze software development processes and system architecture.
• Validate performance through rigorous testing.
• Plan for capacity needs.
• Manage application performance.
• Identify and resolve issues to maintain and enhance system efficiency and reliability throughout the software lifecycle.

What you'll need

• Minimum 5 year(s) of experience in Manufacturing Engineering MES.
• Proficiency in Manufacturing Engineering MES.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and system architecture principles.
• Experience in performance testing methodologies and validation techniques.
• Knowledge of capacity planning and resource management strategies.
• Familiarity with application performance management tools and problem resolution processes.
• Ability to analyze complex system behaviors and provide actionable insights.
• 15 years full time education.
