Overview

Own and evolve Smarsh's AWS infrastructure, designing, building and maintaining the systems that let engineering teams ship reliably.

What you'll do

• Design, build and maintain AWS infrastructure that enables engineering teams to ship reliably
• Work hands-on across Kubernetes orchestration, infrastructure-as-code practices, cloud networking and identity management
• Balance strategic infrastructure improvements with operational excellence
• Treat infrastructure as a product for internal users, thinking holistically about reliability, security and developer experience
• Communicate technical concepts clearly to both engineers and leadership
• Make trade-offs between perfection and pragmatism, and own the systems you build

What you'll need

• Experience as an experienced Platform Engineer owning AWS infrastructure
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes orchestration
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code practices
• Experience with cloud networking and identity management
• Curiosity about how things work under the hood and a current understanding of infrastructure trends
