Platform Engineering Senior Manager

Overview

Lead the design, implementation, and management of secure, scalable, and reliable AWS cloud solutions. Guide DevOps engineers and collaborate with stakeholders to support cloud adoption, migration, and operations.

What you'll do

• Design and implement solutions that meet business and technical requirements.
• Provision AWS environments using infrastructure as code.
• Define deployment and patching strategies with development teams.
• Ensure cloud environments are secure, scalable, and highly available.
• Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams.
• Optimize cloud resources for cost efficiency and performance.
• Maintain application documentation under quality and software development standards.

What you'll need

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, a related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 5 years of experience architecting, deploying, and managing AWS cloud solutions.
• At least 5 years of expert-level AWS infrastructure experience, including EC2, RDS, load balancers, and S3.
• Strong Infrastructure as Code skills with hands-on Terraform experience.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Business acumen and enterprise knowledge.

Nice to have

• Hands-on containerization experience with EKS or OpenShift.
• Experience with Harness.
