PMIC Systems and Validation Engineer, Senior

Overview

Own and contribute to PMIC system architecture, post-silicon validation, chipset integration, and customer issue debugging for power-management solutions.

What you'll do

• Define top-level PMIC system specifications, including HW/FW/SW partitioning and interfaces.
• Create functional validation plans with manual and automated test cases.
• Execute validation tests and analyze results using hardware signal measurements.
• Debug hardware and software issues and create reports.
• Assess risks in development and validation plans.
• Collaborate with design, software, characterization, architecture, validation, and customer-engagement teams.

What you'll need

• 3–5 years of relevant hardware or electronic-product development experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Electronics-related Engineering.
• Knowledge of ASIC flow from concept through commercial-product support.
• Hands-on post-silicon validation experience using bench measurements or software logs.
• Understanding of PMIC, power electronics, digital electronics, and embedded electronics.
• Programming experience in at least one scripting or programming language used in VLSI or embedded domains.
• Ability to use laboratory instruments and trace PCB interconnections from schematics.

Nice to have

• Master's degree with specialization in VLSI, Microelectronics, or Power Management.
• Experience debugging DC-DC converters, SMPS, or LDOs.
• Experience automating hardware-system test cases through software control.
• Experience leading white-box validation of a hardware module or sub-module.
• Assembly-language, JIRA, or GIT exposure.
