What you'll do

• Review sports-related content, mainly football.
• Localize content according to style guides and guidelines.
• Fact-check, translate, and adapt football content.
• Research local content, product, and terminology trends.
• Research best localization practices for the target audience.
• Provide feedback on written content.

What you'll need

• BS/BA degree and/or 2+ years of relevant work experience.
• Experience in linguistics, sports journalism, copywriting, or copy-editing.
• Extensive sports knowledge, mainly football.
• Experience translating and localizing multimedia content.
• Native-level fluency in Japanese.
• Excellent grammar and writing skills in English.
• Strong creative writing, proofreading, and editing skills in Japanese.
