Prin. Solutions Architect I, Invest Tech

Overview

Principal Solution Architect within the Performance Measurement Squad of Invesco's Investments Technology team, providing technical leadership in cloud application design and directly influencing key architecture decisions.

What you'll do

• Develop forward-thinking strategies, processes, and best practices to reduce technical debt, improve data quality, and increase observability and reliability
• Research, design, test, and evaluate new technologies, platforms, and third-party products
• Participate in deep architectural discussions to build confidence and influence decision making within and outside the team
• Ensure architecture standards by performing peer code reviews, analyzing performance, and evaluating security and scalability of code
• Mentor engineers and leaders, and lead by example
• Participate in agile ceremonies (e.g., daily standup, release and sprint planning, demos, scrum of scrums)

What you'll need

• At least 12 years of experience in IT consulting or a related field with a strong focus on conceptualizing solution architecture
• 5+ years migrating, developing, or architecting solutions in the cloud
• Cloud experience with Snowflake and AWS is preferred
• 3+ years in CI/CD pipelines and related stack: Git, Bitbucket, Docker, Kubernetes
• Experience in multi-cloud environments and in-depth understanding of IaaS, PaaS and SaaS solutions
• Experience working in an Agile team and environment
• A bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or equivalent experience

• Technology Support Operations exposure
• Knowledge of the Financial Services industry

• Location: Hyderabad, Telangana, India
• Full-time, exempt position
• Hybrid workplace model: work in your designated Invesco office at least four days a week, with one day working outside an Invesco office
