Principal AI Quality Engineer

Overview

Implement AI within the Quality Engineering lifecycle by building reusable AI assets, integrating AI into testing workflows, and enabling QE teams to adopt practical AI solutions across the product portfolio.

What you'll do

• Implement the QE & AI Transformation roadmap across the product portfolio.
• Conduct QE and AI maturity assessments and provide technical recommendations for improvement.
• Develop and maintain AI-enabled QE standards, playbooks, templates and reusable assets.
• Design and implement AI-assisted workflows across the QE lifecycle.
• Coach engineering teams on the effective use of AI-enabled Quality Engineering practices.

What you'll need

• Extensive experience in Quality Engineering, test automation, and modern software delivery practices.
• Strong understanding of automation frameworks, CI/CD, risk-based testing, and Quality Engineering best practices.
• Practical experience implementing AI-enabled Quality Engineering solutions and integrating AI tools into software engineering or Quality Engineering workflows.
• Experience developing reusable Quality Engineering standards, frameworks, and AI-enabled engineering assets.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, stakeholder management, and communication skills, with the ability to influence technical teams and stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Quality Engineering and AI engineering skills: quality governance, modern software delivery practices.
• AI-enabled Quality Engineering: AI-enabled testing, AI-assisted workflows, reusable AI skills and templates, prompt libraries, AI-assisted automation.
• AI tools and integrations: Model Context Protocol (MCP), AI integrations with testing tools, AI coding assistants such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or similar.
• AI evaluation and standards: AI evaluation, responsible AI principles, testing standards, reusable frameworks, AI-enabled QE standards and playbooks.
• Strong documentation, facilitation, presentation, and technical leadership skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with engineers, architects, product leaders, and senior executives.
