Overview
Principal Applied AI Analyst (P4) within the Applied AI team, providing hands-on build and execution for data science, ML, advanced analytics, and GenAI use cases.
What you'll do
- Build, configure, test, and document solution components for assigned AI/analytics use cases.
- Prepare and analyze data, and develop features, model prototypes, prompt configurations, and retrieval components.
- Implement established solution designs and contribute improvements to accuracy, efficiency, maintainability, testability, or reuse.
- Troubleshoot defects, document assumptions/limitations, and escalate issues when dependencies block progress.
- Execute defined evaluation plans, including performance testing, quality checks, and data validation.
- For GenAI, help create/curate evaluation datasets and run tests for relevance, groundedness, retrieval quality, and content safety.
- Maintain technical artifacts, test results, documentation, and evidence records for delivery reviews and Responsible AI/risk checkpoints.
What you'll need
- Bachelor’s degree and 4 years of experience in data management, information technology, financial services, enterprise risk management, or related with hands-on AI/advanced analytics delivery.
- OR High School Diploma or GED and 8 years of experience in the same areas with hands-on AI/advanced analytics delivery.
- Working proficiency in Python and SQL.
- Exposure to common data science, machine learning, or GenAI libraries and notebook environments.
- Knowledge of data preparation, model evaluation, test design, documentation practices, and basic monitoring concepts.
- Strong written communication to describe technical work, test outcomes, assumptions, and blockers.
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a distributed global team.
