Principal Associate - Software Engineer

Overview

Full Stack Software Engineer role at Capital One, focused on designing, building and supporting cloud-based technical solutions that help customers achieve financial empowerment.

What you'll do

• Collaborate with and across Agile teams to design, develop, test, implement, and support technical solutions in full-stack development tools and technologies.
• Stay on top of tech trends, experiment with and learn new technologies, and participate in internal and external technology communities.
• Mentor other members of the engineering community.
• Collaborate with product managers to deliver robust cloud-based solutions that drive powerful experiences.

What you'll need

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Computer Science.
• At least 5 years of experience in software engineering (internship experience does not apply).

Nice to have

• 3+ years of experience in any of the following: Java, Scala, Golang, React, Node, JavaScript, TypeScript, or Python.
• 1+ years of experience with AWS, GCP, Microsoft Azure, or another cloud service.
• 1+ years of experience with REST, Spring Boot, GraphQL, Jenkins.
• 2+ years of experience in open source frameworks.
• 2+ years of experience in Agile practices.
