Principal Enterprise Software Engineer

Overview

Lead the design, engineering, and optimization of secure, scalable enterprise software systems and cloud platforms. The role combines DevSecOps, platform engineering, cloud architecture, technical leadership, and generative AI integration.

What you'll do

• Design and engineer scalable, secure, resilient enterprise software and cloud platforms.
• Define software development, DevSecOps, and infrastructure automation practices.
• Oversee platform deployment, monitoring, and maintenance using SRE principles.
• Architect and manage AWS, Azure, and GCP infrastructure.
• Lead CI/CD pipeline and Infrastructure as Code optimization.
• Mentor engineering teams and lead cross-functional technical initiatives.
• Integrate generative AI technologies into software capabilities and automation.

What you'll need

• At least 7 years of experience in software engineering, DevSecOps, or platform engineering.
• At least 3 years in a technical leadership role.
• At least 2 years of experience with AI and generative AI technologies or equivalent exposure.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
• Advanced Bash or Python scripting skills for automation and infrastructure tasks.
• Extensive Terraform and Infrastructure as Code experience.
• Strong cloud architecture knowledge across AWS, Azure, or GCP.

Nice to have

• Relevant certifications such as PSD or Azure/AWS DevOps certifications.

Details

• Hybrid role requiring at least eight days per month in the office.
• Location: Pune, India.
• Reports to the Manager of DevSecOps Engineering.
