Principal Information Security Engineer (AI Product Security + SecOps)

Overview

Principal Information Security Engineer responsible for foundational security leadership in Bengaluru, covering AI-driven Product Security and SecOps.

What you'll do

• Design, test, and deploy AI-powered automated detection logic and incident playbooks.
• Integrate AI into SIEM/SOAR pipelines to identify anomalous behavior and emerging risks.
• Implement automated SAST/SCA scanning in CI/CD and provide AI-assisted remediation guidance.
• Build security automation “guardrails” that enable secure-by-design development.
• Lead feature-level threat modeling and harden cloud-native environments and identity management.
• Act as DRI for regional security initiatives and make evidence-based decisions.

What you'll need

• Hands-on experience using LLMs, AI agents, or machine learning models for security automation and response orchestration.
• Understanding of secure SDLC practices, vulnerability triage, and application scanners (SAST/DAST/SCA).
• Experience in threat hunting and incident response management, including detection rules-as-code in SIEM/SOAR.
• Script/tool development with Python, Go, or PowerShell and an automated DevOps mindset (CI/CD, Terraform, APIs).
• Ability and ambition to scale and manage a team with strong communication and stakeholder management.
• Continuous-improvement mindset using metrics from alerts/incidents/system hurdles.
