Lead Engineer, Product Cyber Security

Overview

Lead Product Cyber Security Engineer responsible for driving product cybersecurity risk assessment, secure-development lifecycle adherence, and resilient controls across mobile and cloud components.

What you'll do

• Work with product development teams to conduct functional cybersecurity risk assessments across the full development lifecycle.
• Develop cybersecurity control work documents to meet technical requirements, including standards such as IEC 62443.
• Coordinate with quality and product development teams to update cybersecurity design policies with traceability, validation, and verification.
• Lead or support product cybersecurity incident response management standard work.
• Validate recommended security controls with product testing teams.
• Identify technology/methodology gaps and lead technical/industry committees to improve team capability and create a discipline health scorecard.

What you'll need

• 5+ years of experience with product cybersecurity principles and hands-on implementation of security mitigation controls.
• Knowledge of IEC 62443 or similar recognized cybersecurity standards/frameworks.
• Working knowledge of cybersecurity threat modeling and systematic threat discovery across the product lifecycle.
• Experience with risk assessment and risk treatment using recognized risk management frameworks.
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills for communication with globally dispersed cross-functional teams.
• Working knowledge of creating and using AI agents to automate workflows.
• Bachelor of Science or Engineering degree in cybersecurity, computer science, or related engineering discipline.
