Principal Cloud Infrastructure Architect/Engineer focused on Azure-based infrastructure, cloud-native services, and automation for enterprise platform capabilities.

What you'll do

• Set and drive long-term technical vision and strategy for cloud infrastructure and platform engineering.
• Serve as architectural authority for Azure-based infrastructure to ensure consistency, scalability, and enterprise alignment.
• Lead design of highly complex, business-critical platform systems and guide key architectural tradeoffs.
• Establish and enforce enterprise-wide patterns, standards, and guardrails for secure, resilient, and cost-efficient cloud solutions.
• Identify and mitigate systemic and emerging risks across reliability, security, scalability, and financial efficiency.
• Mentor senior engineers and technical leaders and facilitate cross-organizational design reviews.

What you'll need

• Overall 14-20 years of career experience in a similar field/technology.
• Deep enterprise-scale experience designing and operating Azure-based cloud platforms across compute, networking, storage, identity, and managed services.
• Infrastructure-as-Code and automation at scale, emphasizing composability, governance, and policy-driven engineering.
• Cloud security architecture knowledge including zero-trust design, identity federation, secure network boundaries, and regulatory considerations.
• Proven track record architecting and evolving highly resilient, globally distributed systems with recovery strategies.
• Experience defining and executing multi-team, multi-phase technical strategies with dependency management and incremental delivery models.
