Privileged Access Management Security Engineer

Overview

Hands-on Privileged Access Management Security Engineer supporting and enhancing enterprise CyberArk PAM capabilities across hybrid environments. The role partners with security, infrastructure, cloud, application, and compliance teams to deliver secure privileged access services.

What you'll do

• Implement and administer CyberArk PAM capabilities including Core PAM, CPM, PSM, PSMP, EPM, SCA, and Privilege Cloud.
• Configure safes, platforms, policies, privileged accounts, access controls, password rotation, and credential lifecycle processes.
• Support privileged account onboarding, provisioning, deprovisioning, and automated onboarding.
• Develop automation, REST API integrations, PowerShell or Python scripts, CPM plugins, and PSM connectors.
• Troubleshoot authentication, onboarding, connectivity, session management, and platform issues.
• Integrate PAM with directory, identity, security, IT service management, and cloud platforms.
• Create operational procedures, technical documentation, knowledge articles, and audit-readiness reporting.

What you'll need

• Bachelor’s degree or higher and 7 years of relevant experience, or High School Diploma/GED and 11 years of relevant experience.
• At least 5 years of hands-on experience supporting CyberArk PAM solutions in enterprise environments.
• Experience with CyberArk EPM, Privilege Cloud, or SaaS-based PAM environments.
• Experience with PAM integrations, including Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, Okta, LDAP, SAML, OIDC, MFA, and REST APIs.
• Experience with PowerShell, Python, Terraform, REST APIs, or related automation methods.
• Experience troubleshooting authentication, onboarding, password rotation, session management, SSH, RDP, SSL/TLS, networking, or connectivity issues.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with ability to work independently.

Nice to have

• CyberArk certifications such as Sentry, Guardian, CDE, or Defender.
• Experience with enterprise CyberArk deployments, upgrades, migrations, or Privilege Cloud optimization.
• Experience with Zero Trust, PAM modernization, endpoint privilege reduction, or secure cloud access.
• Experience developing technical standards, architecture documentation, runbooks, dashboards, or metrics.
