Procurement Contract Analyst

Overview

The Contracts Analyst executes the procurement contract review process and manages contract renewals within Columbia Sportswear's global indirect procurement function, ensuring timely and accurate contract intake, review, and recordkeeping.

What you'll do

• Execute the contract review process, including intake, validation, and coordination with legal and business stakeholders to ensure compliance and risk mitigation.
• Manage contract renewals and extensions, ensuring timely execution and alignment with category strategies and business objectives.
• Maintain accurate contract records and documentation in the contract management system, ensuring data integrity and accessibility for reporting and audits.
• Support process improvement initiatives within contract management, including the development of templates, tools, and best practices.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What you'll need

• 4-6 years of experience in contract management, procurement, or legal operations.
• Strong understanding of contract review processes and procurement best practices.
• Familiarity with legal terminology and risk management principles.
• Experience reading contract terms and managing redlines.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with contract management systems.

Nice to have

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Legal Studies, or related field.
• Familiarity with contract lifecycle management systems.
