Overview
Product Manager II specializing in financial data generation and presentation. The role owns financial data taxonomy, standards, structures, and scalable frameworks for accurate, accessible, and AI-compatible datasets.
What you'll do
- Own and evolve the financial data taxonomy across metrics, accounting standards, statements, and reporting patterns.
- Define financial data generation rules across sectors and data types.
- Develop and maintain internal and external documentation for data standards.
- Align engineering, research, product, sales, and client-facing teams on data rules.
- Identify and resolve gaps and inconsistencies in onboarded companies, metrics, and datasets.
- Define requirements for new financial datasets beyond the three core financial statements.
- Design AI- and LLM-compatible data structures, labels, definitions, and conventions.
What you'll need
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, business, or a related analytical discipline.
- 5+ years of experience with data structures, taxonomy, or data governance.
- At least 2 years in product management or a closely adjacent cross-functional role.
- Understanding of financial data, capital markets, and investor workflows.
- Experience translating ambiguous data challenges into structured, scalable solutions.
- Hands-on experience using AI and LLM tools.
- Proficiency with data management tools such as SQL and Python.

- Work mode: Remote.
- Location: Canada.
- Base compensation: CAD 111,000–145,000 yearly.
