Product Owner

Overview

Domain expert and Product Owner for AC and DC Drive related software configuration and commissioning tools, within the Motion Business Drive Products Division in Bangalore, India. Reports to the R&D Team Lead.

What you'll do

• Understand domain-related requirements from stakeholders and clearly communicate them to team members.
• Provide domain clarification iteratively and create common understanding between team members and stakeholders.
• Analyze reported bugs and create a high-level resolution plan for team members.
• Own delivery time of tools under development, ensure quality standards, and maintain roadmap planning with up-to-date project status.
• Continuously monitor projects under development and ensure each feature fully meets customer expectations.
• Ensure scalability and maintainability of the tool in every release.
• Create and groom requirements for teams and provide support for early demos.
• Commit to a clear quality investment roadmap to minimize technical debt, enable fast release, and maximize test automation.

What you'll need

• BE/B.Tech/ME/M.Tech in electrical or power electronic engineering from a reputed university.
• Minimum 8-10 years of experience with variable frequency drives.
• Deep understanding of AC, DC, and servo drives and different types of motors.
• Excellent network and communication skills in a multicultural environment.
• Prior experience working in Agile/Scrum environments as a Product Owner, Technical Product Manager, or Lead Engineer with product responsibility.

Nice to have

• Experience in Scaled Agile or Scrum process and software development lifecycle.
• CSPO certification.
