Overview
Support product regulatory compliance for semiconductor equipment by interpreting global requirements, assessing impacts, and building evidence and repeatable compliance processes.
What you'll do
- Monitor regulatory developments and assess applicability and impact for products, components, materials, operations, and markets.
- Translate regulatory requirements into product, supplier, documentation, labeling, reporting, and process actions.
- Execute compliance workstreams covering areas such as REACH, RoHS, CE marking, EMC, SEMI standards, batteries, PFAS, packaging, F-Gas, chemicals, and SDS requirements.
- Review bills of material, drawings, specifications, supplier information, and shipment or forecast data to identify affected products and parts.
- Coordinate supplier data collection, evaluate evidence, resolve gaps, and escalate material risks.
- Compile compliance evidence for customer surveys, declarations, audits, submissions, and business escalations.
- Prepare status reports, risk summaries, stakeholder communications, and training materials.
What you'll need
- 2 to 6 years of relevant experience in product regulatory compliance, semiconductor or capital equipment engineering, supplier compliance, or related engineering operations.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physical Sciences, Environmental Sciences, or a related technical discipline.
- Applied knowledge of product regulatory compliance for capital equipment or similarly regulated products.
- Experience with compliance assessments, applicability reviews, gap analysis, or compliance-related design and process changes.
- Ability to interpret regulations, standards, notifications, and technical documentation.
- Experience reviewing drawings, bills of material, specifications, supplier declarations, certificates, and safety data sheets.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and SharePoint or comparable tools.
Nice to have
- Experience in the semiconductor industry or with semiconductor manufacturing equipment.
- Exposure to specialized compliance areas such as PFAS, batteries, critical raw materials, F-Gas, SDS management, or wireless/RF compliance.
- Familiarity with CE-marking deliverables, EMC documentation, SEMI S2, technical files, and declarations of conformity.
- Experience creating compliance databases, supplier questionnaires, procedures, training content, or scalable workflows.
