Professional, PDS Projects - Project Lead

Overview

Project Lead role on PDS Projects, responsible for planning, executing and supervising a construction project on site and serving as the main client contact.

What you'll do

• Develop, implement and track detailed project plans, schedules and budgets, including obtaining necessary permits.
• Oversee on-site activities, ensuring compliance with safety regulations (OSHA) and quality standards.
• Hire, coordinate and supervise subcontractors, laborers and staff, ensuring resources are optimized.
• Serve as the main point of contact for clients, architects and engineers, providing regular progress updates.
• Proactively identify risks, troubleshoot and remove obstacles to maintain project momentum.

What you'll need

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• BE Civil.
• Proven experience (typically 3+ years) as a Project Lead, Construction Manager, or similar role.
• 12-15 years of experience.
• Experience in mixed-use, commercial, retail and hotel projects.
• Strong leadership, organizational and decision-making skills.
• Proficiency in reading technical drawings and using construction management software.
• Attention to detail, critical for safety checks and quality assurance.
• Negotiation skills, required for vendor and subcontractor contracts.
• Time management, with the ability to manage multiple complex tasks simultaneously.

Nice to have

• Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar certifications.
