Professional, Quality Assurance Engineering (Payment SDET Engineer)

Overview

Quality Assurance Engineering (Payment SDET Engineer) role focused on automated and manual testing for payment and Clover products.

What you'll do

• Execute integration, system, feature interaction, stress, and performance testing for different Clover products.
• Analyse product requirements to create software test cases during requirement gathering and analysis.
• Create and evaluate test cases for accuracy and applicability.
• Develop and maintain test plans, and provide real-time updates on test status, bug status, and overall product quality.
• Monitor CI failures, report bugs, and triage automated tests running in Continuous Integration.
• Find bugs and validate specifications using black box and gray box testing techniques.
• Work with development teams to automate test scenarios during sprints.

What you'll need

• 3–5 years of working experience as an SDET.
• At least 2+ years of experience writing reliable, maintainable automated tests.
• Proficiency in SDET, payments testing, and automation & manual testing.
• Experience working on Android with strong mobile test automation understanding.
• Ability to write and understand code, preferably in Java for Android.
• Experience with software development tools like IDE, debugger, git, and JIRA.
• Basic shell scripting skills and familiarity with JSON objects and SQL queries.
