Project Engineer

Overview

Project Engineer (APL–Civil Engineering) responsible for site-level execution, coordination, and quality oversight of large-scale commercial construction projects in a PMC environment.

What you’ll do

• Supervise day-to-day civil and structural construction activities at site.
• Ensure works follow approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and construction schedules.
• Monitor contractor and subcontractor progress to meet milestone targets.
• Implement QA/QC procedures for civil works and conduct inspections and snag closure.
• Enforce approved safety plans, HSE norms, and statutory safety requirements at site.
• Review contractor submissions like method statements, material submittals, and shop drawings.

What you’ll need

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (mandatory).
• 5 to 7 years of relevant experience in commercial construction projects.
• Hands-on experience with commercial construction such as office buildings, IT parks, malls, and mixed-use developments.
• Experience with PT slab systems, diaphragm wall construction, waffle slab systems, and RCC works for high-rise/large-span structures.
• Working knowledge of IS codes, construction quality standards, and safety regulations.
• Ability to interpret structural drawings and coordinate design intent with site execution.

• Role is primarily site-based on commercial project locations.
• Location: On-site – Bengaluru, KA.
• Scheduled weekly hours: 48.
• Prior PMC experience is strongly preferred.
