Project Lead

Overview

Project Lead for MEP (mechanical, electrical and plumbing) services, responsible for coordinating MEP design, execution, quality, testing and handover on projects.

What you'll do

• Coordinate with design consultants to ensure deliverables of all MEP co-ordination drawings, SLD and schematic drawings.
• Collect shop drawings from vendors for respective packages and validate them with MEP consultants, then issue to contractors for execution.
• Obtain work method statements from MEP package contractors and get them approved by consultants.
• Execute and monitor all MEP related work.
• Set up the MEP Quality Manual and Inspection Testing Plan.
• Ensure all MIRs are certified before use at site and that the consultant's representative has signed.
• Set up documentation processes for all services and equipment.
• Track MEP materials delivery and maintain the long lead items delivery tracker.
• Monitor whether construction measures are in conformity with the design (GFC drawings) and the bills of quantities.
• Participate in testing and commissioning of services activities and maintain testing certificates and checklists.
• Verify, evaluate and implement accompanying changes to the works and recommend them to the client for approval.
• Obtain relevant O&M documents, guarantees and warranties.
• Ensure smooth handover of MEP packages.

What you'll need

• Degree in Mechanical or Electrical & Electronics Engineering (typically).
• Overall 9+ years of experience in design, installation or project management domain.
• Expertise in the field.
• Ability to drive effective use of JLL technology platforms to deliver projects.
