Property Accountant III

Overview

Prepare monthly financial statements for commercial and residential management clients.

What you'll do

• Reconcile bank statements
• Post tenant receipts
• Post journal entries
• Analyse balance sheet and income statements for unusual activity and report to client
• Produce financial statement reports and submit to owner/management company
• Maintain open line of communication with clients at all times

What you'll need

• 3-10 years experience as a property accountant with commercial or residential management company
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients, peers, and management through written and/or verbal communication
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to work under deadlines
• Good organisational skills and the ability to manage priorities
• A high degree of dependability, motivation and flexibility
• Bachelor's degree in Business Management or related field, and/or relevant qualification and/or relevant experience

Nice to have

• Experience using MRI Software applications
• Masters degree
