We are seeking a talented Purchase Coordinator to join our dynamic team. As a Purchase Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in managing the procurement process for our construction projects. Your responsibilities will include vendor and contract management, vendor evaluation, and ensuring timely delivery of materials to support our construction operations.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Closing & Negotiations - Negotiate with vendors to secure the best possible terms and pricing for construction materials and services.
• Vendor and Contract Management - Oversee vendor relationships, monitor contract compliance, and address any issues that may arise.
• Vendor Evaluation - Assess vendor performance, quality, and reliability to maintain a strong and reliable supply chain.
• Vendor Engagements - Collaborate with vendors to understand their capabilities, identify potential opportunities, and foster mutually beneficial partnerships.
• Credit Controls - Manage credit limits, payment terms, and ensure timely payments to vendors to maintain a healthy financial standing.
• Construction Materials and Management - Coordinate the procurement and delivery of construction materials to project sites, ensuring materials are available when needed.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in a similar procurement or purchasing role, preferably in the construction industry.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills to effectively liaise with vendors and internal stakeholders.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities to address procurement-related challenges.
• Proficient in using procurement software, spreadsheets, and other relevant tools to manage the procurement process.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and coordinate with cross-functional departments.
• Thorough understanding of construction materials, their specifications, and supply chain dynamics.
