About the Job

We’re hiring a Python Developer (Vibe Coding) for a Full-time Remote role. In this position, you’ll help build and iterate on practical, user-focused software using a rapid, experimentation-driven workflow. “Vibe coding” means you move quickly from idea to working prototype—then refine based on real feedback, measurable outcomes, and clean engineering practices. You’ll collaborate with engineers and product-minded team members to deliver reliable backend services and data-driven features across the stack.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services in Python using the Flask Framework.
• Design, query, and optimize relational data models in Postgres for application performance and correctness.
• Prototype features quickly with vibe coding, then productionize solutions with testing, documentation, and maintainable code.
• Integrate and iterate on AI-assisted workflows leveraging claude to accelerate feature development and improve productivity.
• Build and support Machine Learning-informed components, pipelines, or data services where applicable.
• Write clear, reusable code and collaborate through code reviews, technical discussions, and shared engineering standards.
• Troubleshoot issues end-to-end—from logs and API behavior to database queries—while maintaining a strong quality bar.
• Partner with stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions and deliver value incrementally.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Proficiency in Python and experience building production-ready services.
• Hands-on experience with Flask Framework (Python) for REST APIs or backend systems.
• Strong working knowledge of Postgres including schema design, SQL, and query optimization.
• Experience with Machine Learning concepts and the ability to implement ML-adjacent features or data workflows.
• Practical familiarity with claude (or similar AI tooling) to support development.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a vibe coding style: rapid iteration, learning through prototypes, and improving toward production.
• Strong engineering fundamentals: debugging, testing practices, and writing readable, maintainable code.
• Comfort working effectively in a Remote environment with clear communication and ownership.
