QA Automation – L2/ L3 Protocols

Overview

QA Automation role focused on L2/L3 networking protocols, designing, developing and testing high-quality networking solutions with an emphasis on reliability and performance.

What you'll do

• Design, develop, and test high-quality solutions for networking systems, with a focus on reliability and performance.
• Perform QA and solution testing using network routers, switches, and virtual networking environments.
• Drive end-to-end testing of networking solutions, identifying issues and contributing to effective resolution.
• Act as a subject matter expert, participating in architecture discussions and contributing to technical and architectural decisions with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Partner with Engineering Managers and other stakeholders to drive technical initiatives and solve customer problems.
• Stay current with emerging technologies, tools, and industry advancements and apply relevant learnings to improve solutions.

What you'll need

• B.Tech or M.Tech in Computer Science or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on software development experience, with strong coding skills in Python and Unix environments.
• Strong networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, routing protocols, and virtual networking.
• Hands-on knowledge of QA/testing involving network routers and switches.
• Good understanding of software testing and networking systems, with the ability to troubleshoot and contribute to solution testing.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with engineering teams and cross-functional stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with virtual networking technologies.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with Red Hat OS and Unix internals.
• Strong learning mindset with an interest in keeping up with the latest technologies and tooling.
