QA Engineer

Overview

Design and execute comprehensive manual and automated tests for high-performance, real-time analytics products in an agile QA team.

What you'll do

• Test new product features within a cross-functional agile team.
• Design and maintain test strategies, plans, and cases.
• Execute functional, regression, performance, and system tests.
• Automate tests using Python and Selenium.
• Validate UI, API, integration layers, data integrity, and end-to-end workflows.
• Analyse Linux logs, debug failures, and identify product defects.
• Track test progress, report results, and provide risk mitigation plans.

What you'll need

• 5+ years of relevant industry experience, including 2+ years in a senior role.
• Education in Computer Science or a related discipline.
• Strong Python or other object-oriented programming skills.
• Proficiency with Selenium WebDriver or similar automation tools.
• Experience with API testing tools.
• Hands-on Linux experience and familiarity with network protocols.
• Knowledge of manual and automated testing best practices.

Nice to have

• Experience with Docker or Kubernetes.
• Exposure to OWASP Top 10 and security testing concepts.
• Experience maintaining test automation frameworks.
• Hands-on CI/CD tool experience.
• ISTQB, CCNA, CCNP, or similar certifications.

Details

• Hybrid position with flexibility to work from home.
• Occasional travel may be required.
• May require coordination across EMEA, USA, and APAC hours.
• Location: Hyderabad.
