Quality Engineer

Overview

Quality Engineer 2 on the SOAR (Security Orchestration, Automation and Response) team at Arctic Wolf, focused on validating and improving test coverage for cloud-native, incident-response platform releases.

What you'll do

• Design and maintain automated UI and API test frameworks.
• Create and execute test strategies for new features and enhancements.
• Build end-to-end automated test suites across UI, APIs, and backend integrations.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for faster releases.
• Collaborate with developers to identify test coverage gaps early.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing for SOAR platform and UI releases.
• Validate cloud-native deployments using Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS services.

What you'll need

• 2+ years of software quality engineering experience with a focus on test automation.
• UI automation experience with Playwright, Selenium, or Cypress.
• Backend automation experience with Pytest, Rest Assured, Postman/Newman, or similar tools.
• Strong programming skills in Python, TypeScript/JavaScript, or similar languages.
• Experience testing REST APIs and microservices-based applications.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP.
• Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
