QA Test Engineering Intern

Overview

QA Test Engineering Intern supporting manual and automated testing for enterprise applications in the Financial Services domain.

What you'll do

• Prepare and execute manual test cases based on business and functional requirements.
• Conduct functional, regression, integration, and smoke testing.
• Report, track, and verify software defects using defect management tools.
• Support automation testing initiatives using Java, JavaScript, and BDD frameworks.
• Prepare test data and validate test environments.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.

What you'll need

• Pursuing or recently completed a bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Electronics, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of Software Testing fundamentals and SDLC/STLC concepts.
• Basic knowledge of Java or JavaScript programming.
• Familiarity with SQL and relational databases.
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Eagerness to learn automation testing and quality engineering practices.
