Jr. QA Automation (API) - Bangalore, India

Overview

Jr. QA Automation Engineer (API) to build and maintain automated testing frameworks while performing web and API testing and supporting secure software releases.

What you'll do

• Maintain and enhance automated test scripts and frameworks.
• Execute manual and automated test cases for web and API applications.
• Collaborate with developers to identify, report, and track defects in Jira.
• Run regression, smoke, and sanity test suites and analyze results.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to test documentation.
• Assist with integrating automated tests into TestOps under guidance.
• Communicate testing progress and blockers to the team.

What you'll need

• 1-3 years of software testing and automation experience.
• Proficiency in Java and Selenium WebDriver.
• Basic knowledge of API testing using tools like REST Assured or Postman.
• Solid understanding of SQL fundamentals.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and Git version control.
• Experience with test automation tools such as Selenium WebDriver and API automation tools.
• Knowledge of required technical skills including Selenium WebDriver, Java, API testing, SQL, Git, Jira, and Agile methodology.
