Quantitative Developer, AVP (Hybrid)

Overview

Quantitative Developer (AVP) building Python-based risk analytics tools and dashboards for a global stress testing programme, with hands-on AI development.

What you'll do

• Build and enhance risk analytics tools, dashboards, and reporting for firm-wide stress testing.
• Design and develop Python implementations of risk models with production-standard, high-performance code.
• Lead AI-driven development from prototype through stakeholder review using large language models.
• Integrate risk models and analytics tools with enterprise IT systems, including UAT and production releases.
• Develop and maintain Stress Loss Calculator infrastructure and core stress testing components.
• Collect stakeholder feedback to refine prototypes and ensure tools meet business and analytical needs.

What you'll need

• Master’s degree in a quantitative discipline such as Mathematics, Engineering, or Computer Science.
• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with Python as the primary language.
• Ability to write clean, high-performance, idiomatic Python maintainable in production.
• Applied experience using advanced AI tools and large language models such as Gemini or Claude.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with familiarity across financial markets and risk management.
